International Government Advisory
Partnering with international governments to navigate UK regulation and open market pathways — linking overseas suppliers with the UK’s regulatory and design community.
-
Advising on how to align international construction and manufacturing sectors with UK regulatory, safety, and procurement standards. The work focuses on bridging policy and practice, enabling overseas suppliers to navigate the frameworks that govern UK design, specification, and compliance.
-
We support the strategic introduction of innovative building products and technologies to the UK market, linking international suppliers with developers, Tier 1 contractors, and architectural practices. Our role is to help shape credible market entry pathways and ensure new products meet the technical, regulatory, and sustainability expectations of UK clients.
-
By combining regulatory expertise with market insight, Enframe helps governments and trade agencies manage the UK’s complex landscape of standards and approvals. Through structured analysis, targeted engagement, and strategic positioning, we enable global partners to build lasting, trusted relationships within the UK’s built environment sector.
Architects Registration Board (ARB)
Our Founder is an ARB Board member contributing to the development of professional standards and shaping national regulation of architectural practice.
-
As a member of the Architects Registration Board (ARB), our founder contributes to maintaining public trust in the architectural profession through effective governance and regulatory oversight. This includes participation in the Financial, Risk and Audit Committee (FRAC) and ensuring the ARB operates with transparency, accountability, and integrity in its statutory role.
-
Playing an active role in shaping the Board’s strategy and scrutiny during a period of major reform, including implementation of the Building Safety Act 2022, introduction of mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and the development of the new ARB Code of Conduct (2025). Aligning professional competence standards with the evolving needs of the construction industry and public safety expectations.
-
Direct engagement with government departments including the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), as well as contributing to the Board’s Annual Reports to Parliament. These activities ensure ARB continues to act in the public interest and remains accountable to Parliament and the profession it regulates.
Strategic Tools Development
Creating integrated digital platforms to manage design competence, training evidence, and regulatory compliance across the RIBA Plan of Work.
-
The creation of a unified digital platform that brings together design competence, training evidence, and regulatory compliance, all structured around the RIBA Plan of Work. The goal is to make complex legal and professional obligations more transparent, traceable, and easy to manage across project stages.
-
Our tools transform everyday professional workflows into structured data — helping practices and organisations track progress, evidence competence, and identify areas for improvement. Reducing duplication, improving accountability, and building a digital foundation for safer, more efficient project delivery.
-
Blending regulatory insight with digital innovation, Enframe is helping redefine how the architecture and construction professions engage with competence, learning, and assurance. Our strategic tool development is not just about technology, it’s about creating smarter systems that strengthen professional practice and public trust.
We help regulators set the rules and help practitioners deliver them.
Let’s discuss how we can help you do the same.
Bridging the Gap Between Policy and Practice
Every new regulation reshapes how the built environment works.
Enframe exists to make that change manageable — translating legislation into practical systems that raise standards, reduce risk, and strengthen trust between government, industry, and the public.
Our works spans three pillars
Consulting:
We help clients interpret regulation and design systems that deliver compliance, performance, and confidence.
-
We work with international clients, regulators, and public bodies to design frameworks that embed competence, accountability, and performance in the built environment.
From process mapping to policy pilots, Enframe brings insight from both architectural practice and regulatory reform.
-
We believe ideas should lead action.
We challenge assumptions, explore systemic reform, and propose solutions grounded in real-world practice.
-
Enframe brings decades of experience in architecture and across the construction lifecycle to your event or panel, speaking on innovation, regulation, and the future of professional competence.
Digital Tools:
Our platforms, BuildingSafety.app, assessThat, learnThat, and developThat, transform complex regulatory requirements into usable digital frameworks.
-
Competence made measurable.
assessThat enables organisations to evaluate and evidence the skills, roles, and responsibilities required under the Building Safety Act and other regulatory frameworks.
Build trust, demonstrate assurance, and close the gap between policy and people.
-
Training aligned with regulation.
learnThat delivers structured CPD and education mapped directly to Building Safety Act duties and professional competence standards.
