Will Freeman
With over 25 years’ experience across architecture, construction, and regulation, my career has been defined by a passion to improve how complex organisations think, operate, and deliver.
I focus on strengthening systems that underpin competence, transparency, and accountability in the built environment. As a Non-Executive Director, I navigate complex regulatory landscapes, improving governance effectiveness, and aligning strategic intent with public trust and organisational resilience.
Appointed in 2019 to the Architects Registration Board (ARB), I have shaped the UK’s evolving framework for competence, CPD, and professional standards, helping guide the industry through one of its most significant periods of reform.
I’ve led major business transformations, restoring profitability and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. I’ve worked with public and private clients through advisory roles on regulation, governance, and risk, from the implementation of the Building Safety Act to the creation of new international frameworks for professional recognition.
With Enframe, I build on my experience to deliver consulting and digital solutions that strengthen competence, enhance resilience, and align business practice with regulatory and societal expectations. Our work spans strategic alignment, policy influence, and digital transformation, helping clients turn compliance into capability.
